Jonathan joined the Pohl Transportation Family in May of 2025. He knew about Pohl from living near the area.  

Jonathan has seen many changes in the trucking industry, with the biggest being the changes in technology. Jonathan has always used ELDs during his driving career. He likes to trip plan his routes and says the Volvo rides like a Cadillac.  Jonathan enjoys working at Pohl because we do not micromanage and will answer any questions.   

Some advice that Jonathan would like to give to current, new, and potential drivers is to make the jump to Pohl and to have patience.  Jonathan’s favorite restaurant to eat at is Texas Roadhouse. His favorite homecooked meal is anything the wife makes and his favorite snack to grab on the go is Slim Jims.
