John joined the Pohl Transportation Family in November of 2025 after seeing our trucks on the road.  

John has seen many changes in the trucking industry, with the biggest being the changes in technology. John went through the change from paper logs to ELDs and says the ELDs keep it structured. He likes to use Mudflap GPS for navigation and likes driving a Volvo. John enjoys working for Pohl because everyone is friendly, we have nice trucks, and good paychecks. 

John’s favorite restaurant to eat at is Olive Garden. His favorite homecooked meal is pork chops and his favorite snack to grab on the go is sea salt and vinegar chips.
