Jacob joined the Pohl Transportation Family in February of 2026 after seeing our trucks out on the road.  

Jacob has seen many changes in the trucking industry, with the biggest being the changes in technology. Jacob has always used ELDs during his career. He likes to use Rand McNally GPS for navigation and loves driving a Volvo. Jacob enjoys working for Pohl because we are respectful, have a great family atmosphere, and good pay.  

Some advice that Jacob would like to give to current, new, and potential drivers is to always be open to advice. Jacob’s favorite restaurant to eat at is Taco Bell. His favorite homecooked meal is beef stew and his favorite snack to grab on the go is pretzels.
