Kirk started with Pohl Transportation in August. Kirk went to driving school in 1987 and has had several different kinds of driving jobs. Kirk’s first driving job was with a cement company; he also drove a garbage truck and a little bit of local driving before going out over the road.

When Kirk is not working, he enjoys hanging out with his wife, Vickey and her boys. Spending time with family is very important to him! Vickey and Kirk enjoy going out to eat, hanging out and being with each other. Kirk is a big Ohio State fan and loves watching the Buckeyes play football. Kirk is also a Browns fan. Kirk likes to workout with his younger step-son when he’s home, and help his older step-son with his tree trimming business and yard work.

Kirk has been able to travel all over the country, but says you just can’t beat Ohio. Kirk is looking forward to retirement some day and hopefully spending time with future grandkids.
