Leon has been a part of the Pohl Transportation Family since 2015, but worked for Pohl prior to that for a total of 18 years with Pohl! Leon heard about Pohl from a driver in Atlanta. Leon was looking to move to Pennsylvania, so our location sounded good to him. Leon gave Wally, our former Safety Director, a call and the rest is history! Leon is a 2 Million Mile Safe Driver and a previous Driver of the Month. Congrats, Leon!

In all of his years of driving, Leon has seen many changes in the trucking industry, with the biggest being the change in the trucks. Leon says Pohl has the best trucks; they look good, ride great and are greatly equipped. Over the years, Leon has seen the roads get busier and the drivers more diverse. A couple of things that Leon loves about working for Pohl are the people that he works with, customers we serve and the lanes we run. Leon says Pohl is an outstanding place to work.

Some advice that Leon would like to give to current, new, and potential drivers about Pohl is that they are a great company. If you do your job, you won’t have a problem. Leon says Pohl pays good, is well equipped, reliable and everyone in the office is fair. If you have any issues, just communicate. Leon said his favorite homemade meal is lasagna and favorite snack to have on the road is boiled eggs.
