Randy has been a part of the Pohl Transportation Family since 2016. Randy heard about Pohl through his friend Ryan Sites, who is also a driver for us.

In all of his years of driving, Randy has seen many changes in the trucking industry, with the biggest being the trucks. Randy says the Volvos are nice and very spacious. The only downfall Randy sees with automatic Volvos is that they aren’t as great when pulling uphill. Randy has been through the change from paper logs to e-logs, and also used to have to call customers for directions and use a map. Now all he has to do is just use GPS. Randy enjoys working for Pohl because they get him home on the weekends and treat him like family.

When Randy needs a quick restaurant to stop at on the go, he enjoys McDonalds. His favorite snack to grab on the go is a Snicker.
