Kim has been a part of the Pohl Transportation Family since January of 2023. Kim found out about Pohl from seeing our trucks on the road.

In all of her years of driving, Kim has seen many changes in the trucking industry, with the biggest being the technology. Kim did not have to go through the change from paper logs to ELD’s. She says the ELD’s are easy to use and even if they are more restrictive, they are safer. Kim likes to use the Hammer Trucking app and Google Maps for navigation. She likes driving the Volvo’s and says they have a smooth ride and loves the table in the back. Kim enjoys working at Pohl because we have great customer accounts. She says everyone is friendly, our shop techs are great, and our equipment is always taken care of.

Some advice that Kim would like to give to current, new or potential drivers is to be adaptable when entering the industry and trip planning is always essential. Kim’s favorite homecooked meal is baked mac n’ cheese and salmon. Her favorite restaurant to eat at is La Palma in Greensboro, NC and her favorite snack to grab on the go is baked lentils.
