James has been a part of the Pohl Transportation Family since February of 2023. James saw one of our trucks at his local Lowe’s store and decided to give us a call!     

James has seen many changes in the trucking industry, with the biggest being the changes in technology. James has always run off of ELD’s. He said he enjoys using them, and they make it safer for drivers. He likes to use his Rand McNally and Hammer Trucking GPS for navigation. James likes driving a Volvo because they have great space and he loves the foldable table in the back. James enjoys working at Pohl because you get to take your truck home with you and there is no slip seat.   

James’s favorite restaurant to eat at is Texas Roadhouse. His favorite homecooked meal is baked ham, baked beans, rolls, and mashed potatoes. His favorite snack to grab on the go is Fritos Bar-B-Q chips.
