Phillip joined the Pohl Transportation Family in June of 2023. Phillip saw our advertisement on Indeed then decided to apply with us. 

Phillip has seen many changes in the trucking industry, with the biggest being the changes in technology. Phillip has always run off of ELD’s and says they are easy; however, if they are having technology issues, then it can be a pain. He loves the Volvo’s and says they are safe and great trucks. Phillip enjoys working at Pohl because we have nice equipment and we do not micromanage. 

A tip that Phillip would like to give to current, new, or potential drivers is to be patient and you will learn as you go. Phillip’s favorite restaurant to eat at is El Ranchito in Collinsville, VA. His favorite homecooked meal is western bean casserole and his favorite snack to grab on the go is cheese and crackers.
