Chad joined the Pohl Transportation Family in September of 2023 after speaking with one of our drivers!

Chad has seen many changes in the trucking industry, with the biggest being the changes in technology. Chad went through the change from paper logs to ELD’s and says the ELD’s are more efficient. He likes to use his Garmin GPS for navigation and says the Volvos are comfortable and quiet trucks. Chad enjoys working at Pohl because we keep you busy, we have drop and hook, and we are close to his home.

Some advice that Chad would like to give to current, new, and potential drivers is to be patient and try to understand the business of trucking. Chad’s favorite restaurant to eat at is Texas Roadhouse and his favorite snack to grab on the go is pretzels. His favorite homecooked meal is pork chops, mashed potatoes, gravy, and corn.
