David joined the Pohl Transportation Family in October of 2023 after seeing our trucks at some of our customers.

David has seen many changes in the trucking industry, with the biggest being the changes in technology. David has mostly used ELD’s, but says he prefers paper logs. He likes to use his Garmin GPS for navigation and says the Volvos are nice trucks. David enjoys working at Pohl because we offer flexible hometime and we keep our word.

Some advice that David would like to give to current, new, and potential drivers is that the industry is always changing, so never stop learning. David’s favorite restaurant to eat at is Asian Buffet and his favorite snack to grab on the go is Reese’s Cup. His favorite homecooked meal is beef and noodles.
