Lonnie joined the Pohl Transportation Family in June of 2024 after seeing our ad on Driver Pulse.

Lonnie has seen many changes in the trucking industry, with the biggest being the changes in technology. Lonnie went through the change from paper logs to ELDs and says the ELDs are easier to
use. He likes to use his Rand McNally GPS for navigation and says the Volvos are a good truck. Lonnie enjoys working at Pohl because we don’t micromanage and you have no worries.

Some advice that Lonnie would like to give to current, new, and potential drivers is to save your money for a rainy day. Lonnie’s favorite restaurant to eat at is Longhorn Steakhouse. His favorite homecooked meal is meatloaf and his favorite snack to grab on the go is pizza.
