Chris joined the Pohl Transportation Family in September of 2024 after seeing our trucks on the road.

Chris has seen many changes in the trucking industry, with the biggest being the changes in technology. Chris went through the change from paper logs to ELD’s and says he likes to use the ELD’s. He likes to use Truckers Path GPS for navigation and loves driving a Volvo. Chris enjoys working for Pohl because he gets good miles and good money.

Some advice that Chris would like to give to current, new, and potential drivers is to stay warm during this winter season. Chris’s favorite restaurant to eat at is Nicks In The Sticks in Tuscaloosa, AL. His favorite homecooked meal is scrambled eggs and bacon and his favorite snack to grab on the go is trail mix.
