Rodney joined the Pohl Transportation Family in May of 2025 after seeing our trucks out on the road. 

Rodney has seen many changes in the trucking industry, with the biggest being the changes in technology. Rodney went through the change from paper logs to ELDs and says there are pros and cons of both. He likes to use his Garmin GPS for navigation and likes driving a Peterbilt. Rodney enjoys working for Pohl because he gets good runs.     

Some advice that Rodney would like to give to current, new, and potential drivers is to do your research on companies.  Rodney’s favorite homecooked meal is biscuits and gravy. His favorite restaurant to eat at is Red Lobster and his favorite snack to grab on the go is chips.
