Karl joined the Pohl Transportation Family in April of 2026 after seeing our ad on Driver Pulse.  

Karl has seen many changes in the trucking industry, with the biggest being the changes in technology. Karl has always used ELDs for his logs. He likes to use Co-Pilot GPS for navigation and loves driving a Volvo. Karl enjoys working for Pohl because we do not lie and we treat you like a person and not a number.     

Some advice that Karl would like to give to current, new, and potential drivers is to take your time and push through the hard times. Karl’s favorite restaurant to eat at is Black Rock. His favorite homecooked meal is pancakes and his favorite snack to grab on the go is cotton candy grapes.
