Herb has been driving trucks and delivering freight for approximately 36 years with the last 25 of them being with Pohl Transportation.

Herb’s first truck that he drove was a GMC 290 13 Speed Roll Off truck. He has seen many changes in the industry but notes that one of the biggest is most everything is now palletized instead of being loaded directly on the floor of the trailer. This results in less hands on unloading required by the driver.

In his spare time Herb enjoys riding his motorcycle, watching NASCAR & the Outlaws, and just being outside.
