Gary has been with Pohl Transportation for 4 years and been in transportation for 40 years. Besides driving Gary has also been a dispatcher and safety manager. Gary’s first job driving was hauling coal using an R Model Mack, 22 gear, 2 stick with a duplex transmission.

Gary was the lead singer in his own country rock band for 15 years, now he sings in a quartet around home in PA.

One of Gary’s favorite pastimes is riding his Goldwing motorcycle. He and his wife have traveled 12 states in the Northeast and Midwest on his bike.

Gary and his wife recently took an extended vacation to Alaska. They had a great time and enjoyed the scenery and wildlife. Gary says it was a wonderful trip!
