This week’s driver spot light is on Richard Tucker (Tractor 586).

Richard and his wife, Angela

Richard has been driving over the road for 11 years and has been with Pohl Transportation since 2012. Before becoming a driver, Richard was a supervisor in a plant that made Faded Glory Jeans for Wal Mart. When the plant closed he was given the opportunity to learn how to drive and has been ever since.

In his spare time, Richard and his wife Angela like to travel all over to see different bridges and waterfalls. They have wonderful waterfalls in the mountains where they live and they like to visit them, but his favorite vacation destination was when they went to see the Grand Canyon. Richard also enjoys fishing with his wife.

Richard would one day like to go to Alaska and see the Northern Lights. Richard said there are glass igloos that you can stay in and view the Lights. Richard would also like to go to Australia to have a chance to drive a BIG rig there. The towns are really far apart there so the trucks they have hold 1000 gallons and can pull 10-15 53” trailers.

Thank you Richard for being a part of the Pohl Transportation family.
