Walter has been with Pohl Transportation for 2 years, but has been driving for almost 20 years hauling local, OTR and reefer. Walter says he really enjoys working for Pohl, stating “It’s a good company to work for.” Before deciding to drive a truck, Walter worked as a commercial saw filer, where he sharpened blades for saw mills.

In his spare time, Walter enjoys spending time with his family. Walter also enjoys riding his Harley, watching movies, and going to car shows and concerts. Walter loves history and would someday like to travel to Germany and to Pearl Harbor in Hawaii to visit WWII memorials. Walter’s dad fought in WWII, and that really sparked his interest in history and wanting to visit these places.
