Larry rejoined the Pohl Transportation team in 2017, having worked for us a little over 2 years prior to that. Larry started his OTR driving career back in 1978. Before going over the road, Larry drove coal truck for 3 ½ years before the operation moved to West Virginia. Larry then spent ten years delivering Styrofoam products to California and bringing produce back to Kentucky.

Larry married his wife, Jenny Sue, 2 years ago. They have several children and grandchildren that keep them busy! When Larry is not spending time with family, he enjoys fishing and “just taking it easy”. Larry and Jenny Sue also spend a lot of time caring for their property. Larry enjoys woodworking when he has time.

Larry would someday like to own an RV to travel the country and see all the sites you can’t see in a semi-truck. Larry would also like to build a cabin on a local lake so he could fish even more.
