This summer we invited one of our Scholarship recipients, Ryan Bruening, to our office for a visit. Ryan has been awarded our Scholarship two consecutive years, so we were excited to finally meet him in person!

Ryan is from St. Henry, OH, and will be returning to Ball State University in the Fall, pursuing a degree in Logistics and Supply Management. Ryan is currently spending his summer working at Lefeld Industrial & Welding Supplies. At Lefeld’s Ryan pulls orders, works in the shipping and receiving department, works at the front counter and serves the customers. Ryan’s favorite part of the job is pulling orders, but he enjoys doing different things every day to change things up and keep him on his toes. During some free time, Ryan enjoyed traveling to Colorado and Utah with his family, and also went to Hilton Head Island for a week.

While in the office, we showed Ryan how dispatching worked, the different computer programs we utilized and had an open discussion about how the company operates.
