Cliff has worked for Pohl Transportation a couple different time over the years, with his most recent hire date being May 2017. Cliff has been driving a truck over the road since 1991, mostly Midwest to the East Coast areas. Before driving, Cliff pumped gas and waited on customers at the local Super America. Cliff’s favorite part of driving is the independence; he likes not having to be in an office and tied down to one place. The biggest change Cliff has noticed during his years of driving is the hours of service rules and restrictions.

When Cliff is not driving, he enjoys spending time with family, taking country drives, cooking and building/flying drones. Cliff was also a volunteer firefighter for 20 years. Thank you for you service!

In the future, Cliff would like to spend a week in Seattle, go to Alaska and then work his way back across the upper US through states like Idaho and Montana. These are states that he has not seen yet.
