John started with Pohl Transportation in July and had about 15 months driving experience before joining our team. Before he started driving, John did some pizza delivery and worked in technical support with Apple and AT & T. So far John really enjoys driving, especially driving at night. John finds it calming and peaceful to be driving on a long state highway under the moon and stars.

When John isn’t working, he enjoys spending time with his son, family and friends, and his girlfriend, Amanda. John and his son both love to play video games, so they seem to spend a lot of time together doing that or just hanging out. John enjoys cook-outs and family game night with his sister’s family as well. John is an avid Star Trek fan and likes listening to audio books when he is out over the road. Right now he is listening to the Event Group Series.
