Joey started with Pohl Transportation in July and brings with him over 20 years of driving experience. Joey has driven both over the road and local pulling dry box, low boy, flat, coal and log trailers. The thing Joey most enjoys about driving is seeing different places each week and meeting new people everywhere he goes. His favorite place he has driven through has been Texas; he really liked the scenery there. Other than driving, Joey worked in the coal mines for a couple years.

When he is not working, Joey enjoys spending time with his family. He and his wife Jamie have been married for 26 years and have 2 children and 2 grandchildren, which of course they both absolutely adore. Some of their favorite past times with the family are horseback riding and riding 4 wheelers and dirt bikes. As a family they have taken vacations in the past, one of their favorites was a trip to Florida. Joey likes to take each day as it comes and tries to enjoy it.
