Patrick started with Pohl Transportation in December, but has been driving over the road for 2 years. Patrick’s favorite part about driving, especially now that he is with Pohl, is being able to get home each weekend. Before he started driving, Patrick worked in the coal mine for over 11 years, mostly operating heavy equipment.

When he is not working, Patrick enjoys spending as much time as he can with his 2 girls, ages 11 and 10. Some of their favorite things to do are going out to eat, going to the movies and going kayaking. They have been to Gatlinburg, the Columbus Zoo/waterpark, and look forwards to more outings together. Patrick also enjoys fishing and riding 4 wheelers, really anything he can do to be outdoors. Patrick also follows and likes watching WVU Mountaineers football.

In the future, Patrick would like to take his girls to all the places he’s seen while driving a truck, but hasn’t been able to actually visit. He would also like to vacation out west.
