Joe has been a part of the Pohl Transportation Family since 2004. Joe has spent the past 20 years in the transportation industry. He first heard about Pohl Transportation from another driver on the CB Radio. Joe said he was on the CB Radio talking to one driver, then another driver joined in and asked if he wanted to make to change to Pohl. He then took down the number to call, talked to Wally and has been here since then!

A few things Joe says that he really enjoys about working for Pohl Transportation is being able to talk to anyone in the office. He said Pohl has done more for him than any other company that he has worked at. Everyone in the office and shop work with you and are great people. When Joe first started driving, he had paper logs instead of e-logs. He said the change for him was good. He was still getting miles and didn’t have to worry about getting caught. In the trucks, Joe said the safety features can be annoying, but they are greatly needed to keep everyone safe on the road. He also enjoys the very spacious and nice Volvo 860s!

Joe’s advice to potential drivers is to give us a chance, make a change and come to Pohl. If you have any problems, they will try and fix it. Joe left us with his favorite meal to eat: spaghetti and his favorite snack to grab on the go: Love’s Truck Stop little burritos. They have steak, chicken, or breakfast burritos.
