Joe has been a part of the Pohl Transportation Family since 2014. Before coming to Pohl, Joe hauled heavy equipment for 11 years. Joe heard about Pohl Transportation through one of his friends and decided to make the move to us!

In all of his years of driving, Joe has seen many changes in the trucking industry, with the biggest being the change from paper logs to e-logs. Joe was not a fan of the change at first, but knows it’s something he has to get used to since times are changing. Joe said he has seen a lot more rigs out on the road and the industry is needing more and more drivers. Joe said trucks have really improved with their technological features and power. At Pohl, Joe really likes his dedicated route, pay and that he has been the Driver of the Month!
Some advice that Joe would like to give to current, new, and potential drivers is to always plan your trip accordingly and to not overestimate your arrival. Joe said his favorite place to stop and eat is Iron skillet, located at Petro and favorite snack to grab on the go are M & M’s.
