Tom has been a part of the Pohl Transportation Family since 2014, having heard about us through a good neighbor. Tom is a Million Mile Safe Driver and has been the Driver of the Month multiple times! Congrats, Tom!

In all of his years of driving, Tom has seen many changes in the trucking industry, with the biggest being the change from paper logs to e-logs. Tom did not mind the switch, saying it helps keep you more honest and is so much easier than spending extra time on paper logs. Tom says that Pohl has a great maintenance program and has increased in their technology. Tom loves our fleet of Volvo trucks, especially how comfy and how easy to maneuver they are. Tom said Pohl is like a family to him and he has a great relationship with everyone. Tom said everyone is always there for him and truly are like family.

Some advice that Tom would like to give to current, new, and potential drivers is to stay safe and do the best you can do. Always keep your eyes open and stay alert. Tom said his favorite place to stop and eat is Golden Corral and favorite snack to grab on the go is a Reese Fast Break.
