Marcus has been a part of the Pohl Transportation Family since April of 2022. Marcus had seen our trucks in his area and saw us on Facebook. When he was looking for a change, he gave us a call! 

In all of his years of driving, Marcus has seen many changes in the trucking industry, with the biggest being the change in technology. Marcus likes to use his Garmin GPS for navigation. He also says the Volvo’s are the most dependable truck he has driven! Marcus enjoys working at Pohl because you are treated like a human and not a number. He also says he gets home more often and when you call in, we will talk to you.     

Some advice that Marcus would like to give to current, new, and potential drivers is that this industry is a big change. It can be hard, but it will get easier and is a fulfilling career. Marcus’s favorite restaurant to eat at is Golden Corral. His favorite homecooked meal is lasagna and his favorite snack to grab on the go is Andy Capp’s Hot Fries.
