Ryan joined the Pohl Transportation Family in July of 2023. Ryan heard about Pohl through Facebook.

Ryan has seen many changes in the trucking industry, with the biggest being the changes in technology. Ryan went through the change from paper logs to ELD’s, he says the ELD’s are easier and less paperwork. He uses 3 different types of navigation: a Garmin GPS, Google Maps, and an atlas. He also likes driving a Volvo. Ryan enjoys working at Pohl because we do not micromanage and give you the freedom to do your job.

A tip that Ryan would like to give to current, new, or potential drivers is to make the change to Pohl, and to take it day by day. He says you will have good and bad days anywhere you go, but don’t let it get to you. Ryan’s favorite restaurant to eat at is Sandy’s Burger Barn in Holladay, TN and his favorite homecooked meal is whatever the wife cooks.
