Doug joined the Pohl Transportation Family at the beginning of August of 2023. Doug heard about Pohl through our drivers and seeing our trucks on the road.

Doug has seen many changes in the trucking industry, with the biggest being the changes in technology. Doug has always only run off of ELD’s. He likes to use his Rand McNally GPS for navigation and says the Volvos are nice trucks. Doug enjoys working at Pohl because we have great, well-maintained equipment.

Some advice that Doug would like to give to current, new, and potential drivers is to not be afraid to ask questions. Doug’s favorite restaurant to eat at is Ginza in Frankfort, KY. His favorite homecooked meal is whatever the wife cooks and his favorite snack to grab on the go is trail mix.
