Richard joined the Pohl Transportation Family in February of 2025 after coming across our ad on Facebook.        

Richard has seen many changes in the trucking industry, with the biggest being the changes in technology. Richard has always used ELD’s during his driving career. He likes to use his Rand McNally GPS for navigation and loves driving a Volvo. Richard enjoys working at Pohl because we have consistent freight, good communication, and everyone is friendly.    

Some advice that Richard would like to give to current, new, and potential drivers is to slow down and take your time. Richard’s favorite homecooked meal is pork shops. His favorite restaurant to eat at is Longhorn Steakhouse and his favorite snack to grab on the go is a ham sandwich.
