Matt joined the Pohl Transportation Family in August of 2025 after seeing our ad on Driver Pulse. 

Matt has seen many changes in the trucking industry, with the biggest being the changes in technology. Matt has always used ELDs and says they are easy to use. He likes to use Trucker Map GPS for navigation and loves driving a Volvo because they ride smoothly. Matt enjoys working for Pohl because he gets constant miles and we keep you rolling.

Some advice that Matt would like to give to current, new, and potential drivers is to take your time backing up and always get out and look. Matt’s favorite homecooked meal is steak and his favorite snack to grab on the go is baked potato chips.
