Gerald joined the Pohl Transportation Family in September of 2025 after seeing our ad on Driver Pulse. 

Gerald has seen many changes in the trucking industry, with the biggest being the changes in technology. Gerald has always used ELDs and says they are easy to use. He likes to use Hammer GPS for navigation and enjoys driving a Volvo. Gerald enjoys working for Pohl because he gets good miles and pay. 

Some advice that Gerald would like to give to current, new, and potential drivers is to stay dedicated to the job. Gerald’s favorite restaurant to eat at is Longhorn Steakhouse. His favorite homecooked meal is pasta and his favorite snack to grab on the go is Oreos.
