Basil joined the Pohl Transportation Family in September of 2025 after seeing our ad on Tenstreet. 

Basil has seen many changes in the trucking industry, with the biggest being the changes in technology. Basil has always used ELDs and says they are easy to use. He likes to use Hammer GPS for navigation and enjoys driving a Volvo. Basil enjoys working for Pohl because we do not micromanage and have good communication. 

Some advice that Basil would like to give to current, new, and potential drivers is to take care of your health. Basil’s favorite restaurant to eat at is either Chipotle or Bonefish Grill. His favorite homecooked meal is sweet potato pancakes and his favorite snack to grab on the go is cookies.
