Dequaun joined the Pohl Transportation Family in October of 2025 after seeing our trucks on the road.   

Dequaun has seen many changes in the trucking industry, with the biggest being the changes in technology. Dequaun went through the change from paper logs to ELDs and says the ELDs are great. He likes to use Trucker Path, Hammer, or Garmin GPS for navigation and loves driving a Volvo. Dequaun enjoys working for Pohl because we have great equipment, provide peace of mind, and do not micromanage.

Some advice that Dequaun would like to give to current, new, and potential drivers is to make the change to Pohl. Dequaun’s favorite restaurant to eat at is Golden Corral. His favorite homecooked meal is crab cakes and his favorite snack to grab on the go is corn chips.
