Jim joined the Pohl Transportation Family in January of 2026. Having known about Pohl since long ago, he decided it was finally time to join our team!

Jim has seen many changes in the trucking industry, with the biggest being the changes in technology. Jim went through the change from paper logs to ELDs. He likes to use Rand McNally GPS for navigation and loves driving a Volvo. Jim enjoys working for Pohl because we do not micromanage. 

Some advice that Jim would like to give to current, new, and potential drivers is to get a CB radio and use it. Jim’s favorite restaurant to eat at is Mexican. His favorite homecooked meal is pork chops and his favorite snack to grab on the go is a Moon Pie.
