Matt has been a part of the Pohl Transportation Family since May of 2022. Matt found Pohl through Indeed when he was looking for a change. 

In all of his years of driving, Matt has seen many changes in the trucking industry, with the biggest being the change in technology. Matt likes to use his Garmin GPS for navigation. He says the ELD’s have pros and cons, but likes that it forces you to take a 10-hour break. He also love’s the Volvo 860s and enjoys how they ride and turn.     

Some advice that Matt would like to give to current, new and potential drivers is that the industry has its highs and lows and to just enjoy the ride. Matt’s favorite restaurant is any Mexican restaurant. His favorite homecooked meal is meatloaf and mashed potatoes and his favorite snack to grab on the go is gummy worms.
