Roger joined the Pohl Transportation Family in July of 2023. Roger had seen our trucks on the road and decided to give us a call when he was looking for a change!

Roger has seen many changes in the trucking industry, with the biggest being the changes in technology. Roger had to go through the change from paper logs to ELD’s, and says he prefers the ELD’s over the paper logs. He likes to use his Garmin GPS for navigation and loves the Volvo’s. Roger enjoys working at Pohl because we are family oriented, we get you home, and we do not micromanage.

A tip that Roger would like to give to current, new, or potential drivers is to always get out and look. Roger’s favorite restaurant to eat at is Red Lobster, and his favorite homecooked meal is meatloaf. Roger’s favorite snack to grab on the go is a Reese’s Cup.
