Stephen joined the Pohl Transportation Family in April of 2026 after seeing our ad on Driver Pulse and hearing about us through another driver.   

Stephen has seen many changes in the trucking industry, with the biggest being the changes in technology. Stephen went through the change from paper logs to ELDs. He likes to use Truckers Path GPS for navigation and loves driving a Volvo. Stephen enjoys working for Pohl because everyone is friendly and we have great equipment.      

Some advice that Stephen would like to give to current, new, and potential drivers is to run hard, but also prioritize sleep. Stephen’s favorite restaurant to eat at is Chipotle. His favorite homecooked meal is steak and his favorite snack to grab on the go is meat and cheese sticks.
