This week’s Driver Spotlight is on Brian Roeh (Tractor 681)

Brian started with Pohl Transportation in January. Brian has been driving truck since 1988 and has experience driving local, regional, and over the road. Brian has hauled just about anything you can imagine and has experience pulling doubles, tankers, straights and vans. Before he started driving, Brian did factory work. Brian was also enlisted in the US Marines for 4 years, where he worked in communications as a radio operator. In 1985 he was stationed in Okinawa Japan; while there, his team did a combing mission ahead of a veteran’s revisit back to Iwo Jima and up to Mount Suribachi. Thank you, Brian for your service!

In his spare time, Brian and his wife, Margie, enjoy just being outdoors. Brian and Margie live in the country and there never seems to be a shortage of things that need done to keep their property looking good. Brian likes target practicing, fishing, kayaking, paddle boating and of course spending time with their family. One of Brian’s fun projects that he did for the grandkids was to build them a tree house in the back yard. Brian and Margie enjoy visiting Pigeon Forge and Dollywood. In the future, Brian would like to visit the state parks that he was not able to see while driving in his truck.

Thank you, Brian for being a part of the Pohl Transportation family.
