Dennis Bumbarger, truck 711, participated in the 7th annual Make a Wish Convoy over the weekend.

We’re proud of our Driver Dennis Bumbarger for participating in the Make a Wish convoy over the past weekend!

This year we raised over $45,000 to fund wishes for children. Over the past 7 years almost $300,000 has been raised.

This year was extra special because the founder, Mark Friedline, died in November from Covid. Mark was the organizer of the event, and the owner of Friedline Trucking in Somerset, PA. I have always wanted to be a part of the convoy because I enjoy helping people, especially kids.

Having this Lonestar truck and the comments I always get on it, I felt it would be nice to show it off. It was a fun day with well over 100 trucks registered in the convoy. To see the smiles on the kids faces made it all worth it. I hope to do more in the future and hope to one day be able to organize a show for either Make a Wish or First Responders in the area.
