This week’s Driver Spotlight is on Louis Hatcher (Tractor 652).

Louis has been a part of the Pohl Transportation Family since 2011, and had a few years of driving experience before coming on board. Louis first heard about Pohl Transportation from his local newspaper in Rockford, IL. He decided to make a change and didn’t have any complaints once he started with Pohl. Louis will be celebrating his 10th anniversary next month; Happy Anniversary, Louis!

The greatest change that Louis has seen in years of driving is how the tractors have become more durable and hold up well. Out on the road, he has seen an increase in how much people are always on the go. Louis appreciates how truck stops have improved their showers and are more generous. Louis enjoys the convenience of editing using e-logs versus the paper logs. A few things that Louis likes about Pohl is how nice and generous the people are. He enjoys that we are easy to get along with and the improved communication.

Some advice that Louis would like to give to current, new, and potential drivers is to always stay alert, be careful and safe. He emphasized to never get into a hurry and take things slow. Louis left us with his favorite restaurant to eat at is Popeyes and his favorite snacks are Sun Chips and popcorn.

Thank you, Louis, for being a part of the Pohl Transportation Family.
