Jim has been a part of the Pohl Transportation Family since 2018. Jim joined our team after hearing about us through another driver at one of our customers.

In all of his years of driving, Jim has seen many changes in the trucking industry, with the biggest being the trucks. Jim really loves the automatic Volvo’s. He said the change from paper logs to e-logs was at first tricky, but he is getting the hang of it now. Jim really likes GPS navigation, but still keeps a map on hand. Jim enjoys working for Pohl because they are very laid back, they recognize your voice and have great equipment.

A tip to current, new or potential drivers that Jim would like to give is to make the change to Pohl. Pohl offers a great family feel, gets you home and has your name on a board right when you walk in to welcome you. Jim’s favorite restaurant to eat at is Logan’s Roadhouse and his favorite snack to grab on the go is chocolate or an apple.
