John joined the Pohl Transportation Family in January of 2025 after seeing our ad on Tenstreet Driver Pulse.      

John has seen many changes in the trucking industry, with the biggest being the changes in technology. John has always used ELDs during his trucking career. He likes to use his Garmin GPS for navigation and says the Volvos are a decent truck.  John enjoys working at Pohl because we do not micromanage and you get good miles.   

Some advice that John would like to give to current, new, and potential drivers is do not take route planning for granted. John’s favorite homecooked meal is homemade pizza. His favorite type of restaurant to eat at is sushi and his favorite snack to grab on the go is gum.
